Frequently Asked Questions
If the weather isn't on our side
At sea, the absolute priority is your safety and comfort.
This is why the captain is the only one who can decide whether the trip can go ahead, and under what conditions. He knows the sea, our boats and the typical weather conditions in the area: you can trust him.
1) We can go out, but the itinerary needs to adapt
For example: a swell prevents us from entering the heart of the National Park.
In that case, we suggest an alternative route, always beautiful and suitable for the conditions.
You accept this change the trip goes ahead, with no possibility of a full or partial refund afterwards.
You prefer not to change your programme You can reschedule your trip (subject to availability), or get a refund.
Our aim: for you to still enjoy a pleasant moment, safely.
2) The conditions make it completely impossible to go out to sea
When the weather makes sailing impossible or dangerous, the trip is cancelled before departure.
In that case:
We offer another date, if possible
Or a full refund
No nasty surprises: you lose nothing if we genuinely can't sail.
Why this rule?
Quite simply, because the sea deserves respect.
Our sailors are experienced professionals : they know when to set sail, when to change course, and when to stay in port. Their decision depends on on your safety and that of the ship.
Boarding for our ship is at the quay gate. Please wait to be called by name to board.

We are a maritime transport company.
Just like airlines, rail companies and ferry operators, we depart on time in order to stick to our schedule, out of consideration for the other passengers… and the weather.
That is why no delays are possible.
Please make sure to enough time to reach the boarding point:
The departure will take place with or without you, and in case of delay, the ticket will not be refundable.
To help you arrive with peace of mind:
The exact addresses for boarding are on your tickets and on our website
Our ships are clearly identified in our colours
Our advisors are available by phone to guide you if needed
However, once the departure time arrives, we must leave the quay:
at that point, we can no longer wait for you, nor help you find your way around the port.
We know that the unexpected can happen: illness, transport issues, last-minute problems…
Unfortunately, as with delays, a late notice of absence cannot be refunded, as the entire crew and boat are already mobilised to accommodate you.
If you let us know early enough, we do everything we can to help you:
we put your seat back on sale and, if it is resold, we will refund you in full.
Our goal is simple:
May everyone fully enjoy their trip, with respect for the time and enjoyment of all.
Ticketed outings (shared cruises)
No. Departures and arrivals for ticketed outings take place exclusively from our location at the Vieux-Port in Marseille. No boarding or disembarking at another port is possible for this type of outing.
Boat privatisation
As part of a boat privatisation departing from Marseille, boarding or disembarking at another port may be considered, subject to certain conditions.
This option is subject to:
to favourable weather conditions,
theprior agreement of the relevant port authorities,
and payment of the applicable port taxes (payable by the client),
as well as a repositioning of the vessel and crew, charged as an extra.
Repositioning refers to moving the empty boat from Marseille to the chosen port for boarding or disembarking. Its cost depends on the distance and the port concerned.
Example: boarding at Cassis
Repositioning Marseille – Cassis: 1 000 €
Port tax: not included
2025 fee set by the Cassis harbour master's office
€4.89 excl. VAT per passenger, in accordance with article R.5321-34 of the French Transport Code
Rate subject to change according to current regulations
Ticketed outings (shared cruises)
No. The times are fixed and cannot be adjusted.
Departures and returns take place at the times specified when booking, with an operational margin of around ±10 minutes.
If you have commitments before or after the outing, these should be taken into account when booking.
Boat privatisation
Yes, this may be possible as part of a private outing, subject to feasibility.
When making your privatisation request, please let us know your preferred times. We review each request to determine what is achievable depending on the season, the requested duration and our schedule.
High season
A time request falling between two usual time slots (for example between a day outing and an evening outing) generally means the day + evening rate being charged, even for a shorter duration.
This type of timing prevents us from offering the vessel across all our usual slots, whether ticketed or private.
Low season
There is greater flexibility on timing, and we can more easily adapt the schedule to suit your plans.
This is what allows us to mobilise the crew, the boat, fuel, and the whole organisation behind your adventure.
If this threshold is not reached:
We will offer you a rescheduled date as a priority
If this does not suit you, you will be fully refunded
Our goal is simple: for you to enjoy a wonderful experience, in a friendly group, with no unpleasant surprises.
Yes, no problem at all.
If someone ultimately cannot take part, you can replace them with someone else, provided that you let us know in advance.
This allows us to update the passenger list and prepare to welcome everyone under the best conditions.
Children / adults
A child instead of an adult :
the change is possible, but no refund can be issued. An adult instead of a child :
the change is possible, and we will simply ask you to pay the difference in price.
What matters most to us is having the correct information before boarding.
If in doubt, the simplest thing is to contact us : we will be glad to reply promptly.

We place great importance on the comfort and food safety of our passengers.
However, meals served on board are prepared by outside caterers, which involves certain limitations.
Ticketed outings (meals included)
The meals offered are not à la carte.
They are:
Vegetarian
With at least part of the buffet gluten-free
However, we are unfortunately not able to adapt the menus to specific diets or particular allergies.
If you have a food allergy, please let us know before the outing :
we can then check with the caterer whether certain dishes contain identified allergens.
⚠️ Please note : as meals are prepared by external suppliers,
we cannot guarantee the total absence of allergen traces (cross-contamination).
For significant allergies or strict diets, we strongly recommend that you bring your own food, so that you can enjoy the outing with complete peace of mind.
Private outings
As part of a privatisation, the boat is reserved exclusively for you.
We then ask you to inform us in advance of all dietary requirements and allergies.
We will do our utmost with the caterer to meet specific requests.
However, despite our best efforts, we cannot guarantee that all dietary requirements can be met 100%, particularly in the case of severe allergies.
Our priority is your wellbeing.
If in doubt, the best approach is to contact us before booking : we will take the time to talk it through with you and guide you towards the most suitable solution.
We do everything we can to make your outing enjoyable from start to finish.
Our boats are stable and we always adapt our sailing to ensure your comfort and your safety.
But it is perfectly normal for some people to be more sensitive to the motion of the sea.
To make the most of the outing
Here are a few simple and effective tips:
Arrive well-rested
Avoid alcohol before boarding
Eat something light
Stay outside and look at the horizon
Move around a little, breathe deeply and go for a swim
And above all: speak to the crew about it as soon as you arrive.
We will be able to offer you the most comfortable spot and support you if you are not feeling comfortable.
If you are prone to seasickness
If you know that you get seasick easily, some suitable medication can be helpful.
Speak to a pharmacist or doctor, who will be able to advise you on the right product and the right dosage.
Anti-nausea treatments are generally more effective when taken before boarding, strictly following the healthcare professional's recommendations.
We do not administer any medication on board, and cannot advise on a specific treatment:
it is always best to seek the advice of a specialist for your comfort.
As a general rule, animals are not allowed on board our ticketed outings (outings open to the public).
This applies to all animals, whether a large dog or a very small companion.
Assistance or medical animals (guide dogs, support dogs, etc.) are of course welcome on board, in accordance with regulations.
This rule is designed above all for:
The comfort of other passengers
And above all the wellbeing of the animals, for whom a sea outing can be long, stressful and not well suited
Private outings
During a privatisation, the boat is entirely reserved for you.
In this case, we can accept animals only :
On short outings (half-day or evening)
Provided we are certain that the animal can remain calm and safe on board
However, animals are not permitted on full-day outings (around 7 hours), in order to preserve their comfort and safety.
If you have any doubts or a particular situation, contact us before booking :
we will always take the time to talk it through with you to find the best possible solution, with respect for everyone.
Our outings are designed to be accessible to everyone : families, the curious, sea lovers, sporty or not.
On board, everyone experiences it at their own pace : admiring the scenery, chatting, swimming, taking photos… there's no performance expected.
For swimming:
You simply need to know how to swim
A buoyancy aid is available if you feel you need one
If you are pregnant, have a health condition, reduced mobility or a particular concern:
let us know before the outing. We will always do our best to welcome you safely and without stress.
The sea is a pleasure to share, without pressure and with respect for everyone.
